Formal communication in construction and civil works often decides both time and money. Yet notices, questions, answers and decisions still live in email threads, folders and personal notes. The result is familiar: unclear status, weak history and unnecessary rework when something must be explained later.

CASAI Notices & Decisions gives a shared way of working instead. The module gathers notices, Q&A, evidence, status and decisions in one traceable case workflow — so the parties involved see the same situation, the same evidence and the same history. The module is compatible with FIDIC-based contracts.

Two case types — one workflow

You create either a notice case or a Q&A case. They are two distinct types, not the same thing under different names.

On every notice you can also communicate with the counterparty and internally. The dialogue stays in the case — not in parallel email threads.

From draft to closed case

Each case follows the same status chain:

Draft → Sent → Received → Decided → Closed

Responsibility and next steps become visible along the way. The module does not replace legal judgement or the parties’ contractual responsibilities: received does not automatically mean agreement, and closed is not automatically a legal settlement. CASAI provides the structure. People make the decisions.

Can connect to variation (ÄTA) in Contract Regulation

Notices & Decisions works on its own. When needed, cases can also connect to variation (ÄTA) handling in the Contract Regulation module, so formal communication and change work can stay joined — from notice and dialogue to evidence, decision and valuation.
